Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for HR to Issue Employee Reference

1. Purpose:

   4. Verification: HR personnel verify the accuracy of the information provided and cross-reference it with employee records and performance evaluations.

   5. Preparation: HR personnel draft the reference letter, ensuring that it is factual, objective, and free from any discriminatory or defamatory language.

   6. Review: If required, HR personnel may seek approval from the legal department to ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.

   7. Issuance: Once approved, HR personnel issue the reference letter to the requesting party through a secure and confidential channel.

 

5. Content of Reference Letter:
